Approaching  Penzance along the main A30. 

Approximately one mile on from Crowlas, the A30 descends towards the coast. Passing minor roads to Ludgvan to the right, a roundabout is reached, with Penzance just two miles further to the West.

Take the first exit turning left onto the A394 towards Helston. Follow the A394 for just over 5 miles. Praa Sands Golf Club is on the right just before Germoe crossroads where a right turn will take you in to Praa Sands village. 

Approaching Praa Sands from Truro/Falmouth:

Follow the A394 Penzance road from Helston towards Porthleven. Stay on the A394 passing through Breage and Ashton to Germoe Crossroads.

Turn left in to Praa Sands (signposted).

The nearest mainline railway station is at Penzance, which is approximately 8 miles distant. There are regular trains from London each day and other major UK cities.

Local Bus and Coach Services

Praa Sands has the benefit of a regular bus service to Penzance, (West) and Helston (East). There are stops by the Post Office and also near the car parks to the West end of the village. Timetables are displayed at these stops. A day or weekly "saver" ticket can be purchased, making the cost of bus travel more attractive. A short walk to the main road at Germoe Cross accesses further services to Penzance and Helston.
