We need You!
Praa Sands Community Centre needs people to help run the Centre. Whether it is on the Management Committee, or as a more occasional helper, the Centre relies on local people to keep the Centre going. It is currently a busy, well-run place hosting a fantastic programme of music and theatre events, providing a regular Lunch Club for local seniors, and providing art, exercise and a wide range of other activities for people in our local area. The Centre is also much used as a venue for parties and special events.
We're hosting an Open Evening at the Centre Monday 7:30pm 12th March with Wine & Cheese provided by the Mounts Bay Wine Company and the Newlyn Cheese and Charcuterie
Please come and join us and see how you can help to keep our Community Centre a vibrant and forward-moving community resource!

We thought we'd ask an expert: Wikipedia!
'properly pronounced pray; prah or prar are incorrect ... Praa is the ancient Cornish word meaning "hag's" or "witch's cove". '
