approximately two miles east of Praa Sands on the main A394 Penzance to Helston
road. The Lion and Lamb Public House is situated on the A394 and
approximately 100 yards from the pub is the village Post Office and Stores.
There is also a petrol filling station opposite the Post Office. Ashton features in the booklet ‘Six walks’ through the ancient parishes of Breage and Germoe, there are inland and coastal walks including Rinsey. Full details of these walks are to be found at
